D8175/E5: Transparent PPG

D8175 UHS High Performance Clearcoat uses PPG's unique technology to deliver 'speed without compromise': an easy to apply, fast drying clearcoat that is simple to polish and offers unrivalled flexibility for all types of repairs. D8175 dries in 5 minutes at 60°C or 20 minutes at 40°C and offers an excellent final finish appearance and can be polished as soon as it cools.

DRYING

- At 60°C

5 minutes with D8745 Standard Thinner

10 minutes with D8746 Slow Thinner

- At 40°C

20 minutes with D8745 Standard Thinner 30 minutes with D8746 Slow Thinner

- Air – at 20°C

90 minutes with D8745 Standard Thinner 120 minutes with D8746 Slow Thinner - IR With D8746 Slow Thinner 6 minutes (depending on colour) Metal temperatures: 90°C-100°C

POLISHING

Polishing can be carried out as soon as the support has cooled. In the case of air drying, polish after 120 min at 20°C. Polishing is recommended in the first 24 hours after application
